to get an invitation?
You can request manually who have an account. Wait until somebody sends an invitation to your email. The invitation mail will contain an invitation link. Promotional

If you see any error massage like "link has expired" then it would not create an account. Wait for a new invitation. or If you try copy past and see any error massage like "invalid link". Name:
Your full name. Email: Enter a valid email address. It will become your OwnPlanet Login ID. And we also contact you by this email. You will never change this email for this account. Password: Enter a password using alphanumeric characters (case sensitive). Birth Date: Enter your date of birth. Note that if you by any chance forgot your login ID you will be asked your birth date. Submit the form After submitted the registration form successfully, wait for some moment (because of server traffic) and check your email. You will get an confirmation mail. If the confirmation mail contains an activation link, you must browse this link. (If your invitation email and registration email are same then this mail would not contain any activation link because it will automatically be activated). When you get a mail with the words 'your account is activated' login.

Note: User ID will be an email address which you entered in the registration form. You can see your user ID and password in your registration confirmation email.
After the first login you have to submit another form to complete the registration process.
Until you submit this form you will not be able to use your account.

Problem in the login page.
You will have two options. (1) If you forgot your password, use "Enter your email address" option to recover your password or (2) if you forgot your login ID then use "Forgot Login ID" option to recover your login ID. Recover Password: If you forgot your password then enter your email address which you entered during registration process and click on "Submit email". If you enter your email correctly system will send the password to the email address. Recover Login ID Login ID is a valid email address which you entered during registration process. If you cannot remember which email you used for your OwnPlanet account then you can use this option. To do so, you have to enter accurately all information you entered during registration process : Nick Name, Date of Birth, Country and Postal Code. Then click on "Verify ". Next step, you will be asked for "Security Question" and "Answer". If you would be submitted all the information accurately then you can see your Login ID.
Logon to your account. Go to "Bookmark > New".
You will see the "Bookmark Editor". Name Define a name that you can know it later. Link Enter the URL (the web link). Category Define a category. You must enter a category. You can select common or anyone from the list. If you want to add a new category just select "Other" then enter your new category on the next field. Group You can grouping your URLs, Do same way as category. To know more about Category & Group see "Use of Category and Group" (on this page). OPTIONAL OTHER FIELDS: Related Email If you are a member of that site you can enter in this field, the email address you submitted on that site. Note1 You can enter some notes hare. Note2 You can enter more notes hare. Details You can enter some advantage / disadvantage about the URL or anything you like. Remember, the "Category" and the "Group" is the way to divide the verity of websites. Think which websites you visit lots of time. To get best result, you first classify your interests on the internet before you start storing URLs.
BOOKMARK VIEWER
Logon to your account. Go to "Bookmark". You will see the Bookmark list. Name column The name you defined when you added the URL. Link column In the "link" column you will see some logos. You can click on them to browse the URL. Copy any URL: You can copy the
URL by right click on a logo (depending on your browser).
Category columnLogo: This logo will be the site logo of the URL. It might be selected by the OwnPlanet Team or any OwnPlanet user. If the site logo is not selected then the default logo will be displayed. To define a logo for any site or report a bad logo click hare. The category you selected when you added the URL. Group column The group you selected when you added the URL. Email column If you defined an email when you added the URL will be displayed hare. Note1 column If you entered any note on Note1 field when you added the URL will be displayed hare. Note2 column If you entered any note on Note2 field when you added the URL will be displayed hare. Detail column If you entered anything note on detail field when you added the URL will be displayed hare. TIPS:
View hidden content of a white field: White fields are not big so possibly part of its content would be hidden. Put the cursor on a white field and press right or left arrow key to move the cursor and see the hidden content. Copying anything: You will see few columns contain white fields. You can put the cursor on a white field and press Ctrl+A to select the content of the field, then press Ctrl+C to copy. * "Ctrl+A" and "Ctrl+C" varies on the Operating System. BROWSE BOOKMARK You can browse your Bookmark list by Category (Select any item from Category list) You can browse your Bookmark list by Group (Select any item from group list) Logon to your account. Go to "Bookmark". Remember, Category and Group has no relation between them and any one of them are not a substitute of other one.

You can customize the Field Name of "Note1" and "Note2".
Go to "settings". Find out the "Note1 and Note2 Field Name Customize". Edit as you like and click on "update".
Logon to your account. Go to "AddressBook > New".
You will see the "AddressBook Editor". Fill all the fields you need. Only 3 fields are required. Other fields are optional. Remember, the "Category" and the "Group" is the way to divide the verity of your contacts. It will be good to classify your contacts before you start storing.

Logon to your account. Go to "AddressBook".
Select any item by clicking on the edit icon. Then Click on "Edit". You will see the "AddressBook Editor". Now you can edit or delete the item. To Edit Make your changes then click "submit". To Delete Clear all fields and click on "submit". Then close the window by clicking on the close button down side of the Bookmark Editor. List will refresh automatically.
There are Six Phone Number field, you can customize the field names
of 2,3,4,5 & 6.
To do so, go to "settings". Edit as you like and click on "update".
You can select 6 most useful links.
Note that, you can select links from your stored bookmarks only.
To select / edit speed dial go to "Settings".
Select from the list and click on "Update". Note: If you want to see the changes of speed dial settings click refresh button on your browser.

Summery of your account
When you logged on you will see your account summery on the main page. Log on to your account. On the top right corner you will see your account summery. e.g.: Bookmark: 1/10, AddressBook: 2/10,
Invitation Sent: 3
More of your accountHare you have 10 bookmark limit in your account, and 1 URL you have stored. Hare you have 10 AddressBook limit in your account, and 2 contacts you have stored. Hare you have sent 3 invitations. Go to "Settings" scroll down, you will see "Invitation Status".
After you invited your friend(s) you will see the status of the invitation.
On the top right corner on the main window you will see how many invitation you sent. And on the "Settings" window you will se detail about you invitation.
Logon to your account.
Go to "Settings" then click on "Change Password". Fill up all fields and click on "submit". After successful submission your password will be changed and a mail will be sent to your email to inform you that your password has changed.
Logon to your account.
Go to "Settings" then click on "Change Password". Fill up all fields and click on "submit". After successful submission a mail will be sent to your email with a confirmation link. If you browse this link your account will be terminated. But we will not delete your account and all items you stored. Then you can login but cannot access your stored items. After this termination we will count few days, if you not request to continue the account system will delete your account with your stored items permanently. Continue an account after termination. Logon to your account then click "Continue account". We will send you a confirmation link. If you browse this link your account will be continued. But it will take few days to re-activate. Why we take time to re-activate? Because, users will care about his/her account.

How to invite to create an account on OwnPlanet?
Logon then click on "Invite your friend". Fill up the invitation form and click on "Send Invitation ". We will send a mail to the email you entered to send to.
