OwnPlanet is a storage service which provides you with an easy way to store your bookmarks and other information online. At OwnPlanet we store information and we recognize that privacy is important.

You must be a registered member of OwnPlanet to get an OwnPlanet account. You need to login to view, delete or edit the information you stored on your OwnPlanet account.

Personal information

• You need an OwnPlanet Account to access OwnPlanet. OwnPlanet asks for some personal information when you create a OwnPlanet Account, including your contact information and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access.
• When you use OwnPlanet, OwnPlanet's servers automatically record certain information about your use of OwnPlanet. Similar to other web services, OwnPlanet records information such as account activity (including storage usage, number of log-ins), data displayed or clicked on (including UI elements, ads, links); and other log information (including browser type, IP-address, date and time of access, cookie ID, and referrer URL).

Uses

• OwnPlanet maintains and processes your OwnPlanet account and its contents to provide the OwnPlanet service to you and to improve our services. The OwnPlanet service includes relevant advertising and related links based on the information related to your use of OwnPlanet.
• OwnPlanet's computers process the information in your messages for various purposes, including formatting and displaying the information to you, delivering advertisements and related links, backing up contents you stored, and other purposes relating to offering you OwnPlanet.
• OwnPlanet may send you information related to your OwnPlanet account or other OwnPlanet services.

Information sharing and onward transfer

• When you send invitation or other massages to anybody OwnPlanet includes information such as your name maybe.
• We do not sell, rent or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties except in the limited circumstances described in the OwnPlanet Privacy Policy, such as when we believe we are required to do so by law.

Your choices

• You may change your OwnPlanet account settings through the OwnPlanet "settings" section.
• You may organize your account contents through your OwnPlanet account or terminate your account through the settings section of OwnPlanet Account. Such deletions or terminations will take immediate effect in your account view. Residual copies of deleted account contents may take up to 30 days to be deleted from our active servers and may remain in our offline backup systems.
